Zen Centers

Sanneji

Sanneji is a year-round retreat center dedicated to Zen practice located in the village of Sannäs in Karjaa. Our resident Zen teacher facilitates the full-time practice.

We organize retreats and other events, such as Buddhist ceremonies and introductory courses. Visitors are welcome to participate in the daily schedule and learn more about about our activities.

Helsinki Zen Center

Helsinki Zen Center is located in Sörnäinen, at Pääskylänrinne 3. We offer guided Zen meditation 4–5 times a week, all-day meditation sessions, introductory courses and Buddhist ceremonies.

Sanneji Zendo Tampere

The Sanneji Zendo Tampere city zendo, is located at Teiskontie 1. We offer guided Zen meditation sessions, introductory courses, and all-day meditation retreats.

Sanneji Zendo Turku

Our Turku zendo is located at Linnankatu 61 (1st floor), near the Aura River. We offer guided Zen meditation three times a week, introductory courses, and all-day meditation sessions.
